With my logic stalking is not a violation of someone’s privacy

A lot of people label stalkers as people guilty of violating someone’s privacy. If a stalker has found out what they wanted to find out about someone through social media then it’s not a violation of someone’s privacy because they’re just viewing content about someone that anyone can see because it’s publicly their for anyone to see.

What you know about people is about what they consent to you knowing about them so people just make it so that the people they’re not comfortable around are the type of people who they do not consent to sharing information with so In a way some people contradict themselves when it comes to what you can know and can not know about someone why say a stalker has violated your privacy when they found out something about you that was publicly their to see

Stalking used to be breaking into someone's house, hiding cameras in every room and surveilling them 24/7. Now it's looking at public social media profiles for 5 minutes jfl
lmao true

People overshare and attention whore, then whine because their information is now publically available

Same reason that troons complain about KiwiFarms

If the person looking at a social media profile is someone who is off a high ranked position on the social hierarchy it’s not stalking. When someone who holds no position in a social hierarchy and is regarded as an outsider or is seen as the creep giving unwanted attention by looking at someone’s social media they are classified as a stalker by most normies.
