Welcome to another advice thread. This one is about how to deal with therapists. This will be most useful if family are forcing you to go to therapy (which, actually reduces the quality of therapy itself, but that's another thread).
- The first thing you need to do is treat your therapist more like a stranger, or someone you sometimes see but not often. They aren't your friend. They will never be. Remember that. They are nothing more than a person you are paying because if you don't, your family will hate you even more than they already do. I do this, I've had a (foid) therapist for the last 5 years roughly (and I rarely talk about anything I wouldn't talk about with a normgroid). It's worked so far; she isn't any the wiser.
- On that, NEVER, for the love of God, EVER speak to them about dating/mental problems. That is what this forum is for. Venting is only here.
- Related, please don't talk about your mental problems in the public subforums. You don't know who might be reading your threads. I have talked about my own problems, but ONLY in the private subforums. I won't name them, but you probably know what I'm talking about.
Doing this should make therapymaxxing a breeze for you.
Shalom to anyone from IT who has screenshot or is reading this.
And if "you know who" is reading, please stop using that voice changer. You say it's to "protect your family", but all it does is make you look like a soyboy. It's trivially easy to undo your voice changer. If you really were concerned about privacy, you'd use a TTS. Either use your real voice or a TTS.
