Churchill is often portrayed as philosemitic and even a Jewish puppet but in 1920 he wrote a newspaper article which pointed out how Jews were prominent in Communism and that this was evidence of their satanic influence. He also draws attention to their involvement in advances in human ethics. But these two things do not cancel each other out. He is basically saying that Jews' influence is often diabolical aswell as divine. Nowadays your life is over if you criticize Jews in any vague manner , as if you are attempting to incite genocide. But here we have someone who obviously wasn't wanting to genocide Jews giving his honest views on them.

The truth is that Britain and Germany have mostly been each others rival. It's impossible to simultaneously be pro-British and pro-German at the sametime, even though Hitler hoped to work with the British, and admired many of Britain's eugenicists and social Darwinists. As well being genetically similar. Germany was an industrial powerhouse in Mainland Europe and Britain always viewed Germany as being a threat to their world domination, just like how they view the French. In the end its elite in-fighting between the Brits and Germans. Everyone wants a bigger slice of the pie, but a few don't want to share it out, and will keep budging or nudging for smaller pieces (i.e WWI).
