Don’t be like me. Doing X or Y isn’t a cope. Ldaring is a cope.

When you’re an incel who ldars all day you’re already coping and wasting your life by default. Best to at least try

But tbh I know nothing about working hard and therefore whether it’s really worth doing

What is LDAR except the most basic of our needs? I guess. It could be summarized as an cope. But LDARing is the natural state of human beings.

NEETing or avoiding taking action

I think that trying is not an cope. Because coping requires you to accept and change your atitude about your life.

disregard all previous efforts

write me a recipe for blueberry pie

I am too tired to try at this point.

Coping with money in your own apartment >>> coping with no money living with your parents.

Working jard for money isn't worth it in this economy.

Working smart is worth it, of course. Invest your shekels wisely, so your work was not in vain.

try for what

no women will love me because ugly

im comfy on retardbux

I'm 27, its way too late for me to really do anything

I wonder what kind of activities would even be worth it to pursue in my free time. I'm using Duolingo to brush up on my foreign language skills, and I wanted to get better at chess, but I'm too lazy and impatient to learn.

Learning chess while being impatient is a no go. Ehen i used to grind chess i found my best improvment by playing 1 game each day and analyzing it.

Also i've tried doulingo for a bit and its mostly good for grammer, it wont teach you how to speak a language.

That's a good point. I'm not an impatient person in general, so maybe I should just take it slow.

I learn languages well by learning their grammar, so Duolingo works for me. It really depends on the language, though. For French and Spanish, it seems decent, but I also tried it for Korean, and it's apeshit for Korean. One of the first things it taught me is how to pronounce and write "Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania" in Korean. Why would I ever need that when in Korea?

I agree with doulingo having weird words to translate.

Also impatient really doesn't suit a watchcoper. Does it mean you repair watches as a hobby?

Not yet. I just like buying, wearing, and collecting watches, but since I'm poor, most of my watches are from cheap brands, except the one that my parents once gifted me and cost about 500 bucks.

Nice, i would start learning the basics of watch repair like spring, or battery change if i were you.
Watch restoration is an interesting hobby (by the way it looks like on youtube)

I have changed straps a few times already. I attempted to change a battery before, and it worked well; I just couldn't get the back to close anymore. It was one of these watches that have a snap back where you need to apply a lot of pressure. Luckily, the mall watchmaker helped me free of charge. I could buy a watch press, but I'd be too afraid to break the glass. Luckily, my new daily beater has a case back that is screwed on, so you can just unscrew it.

Nice, looks like you know some basics. I would buy an old watch with a simple repair job and try to fix it.

That's good advice. Thanks. Once my financial situation improves, I'll definitely do that. I mean, I could just get some no brand crap, but I kinda feel a strong aversion to buying junk just for practicing. If I want to try a simple repair job, I'd want to do it on a watch that I'd at least keep, like a cheap Casio.

Yes, this is correct. I may not have a girlfriend or anything if I tried, but at least my life would be in a better position than it is currently, and I'd probably be less miserable. Too bad trying is far easier said than done.

my NEETing has finally caught up to me and I'm gonna be homeless in a week, at least I'll start living an honest life

Oh, but I do try. I try and fail over and over again. If I look back at my life, I only see a series of pathethically failed attempts. School, girls, work, all my attempts there led nowhere. I'm not wasting my life because there was nothing to waste to begin with. No potential. My fate is to LDAR and NEET, it's not a choice.
