I donno why everyone talks about their success and accomplishments when asked about tell me about yourself?

scripted behavior

What does succeeding in life even mean? Fuck their arbitrary standards

From a biological perspective, success is necessary in life because it increases the chances of reproducing and passing on one’s genes to the next generation. From a societal standpoint, success is seen as valuable because it can bring status, wealth, and recognition from those around you.

As for why people talk about their success and achievements when they are asked about themselves, this could be seen as a way to assert their worth and value to others as well as to make themselves feel better and superior.

It's a way to distinguish who is a winner and a loser in their minds. They want to see if it's worth their effort investing their time to have a relationship with you.

I’m not an animal I’m a human being

We are not above our primal instincts and desires. We are animals at our core and the theory of evolution is direct proof of the blackpill. Humans like to think they are special, that they are not the same as the animals. But this is just cope. The irony is—more often than not, it's those same people who don't believe we are animals that are the most susceptible to their biological instincts.
