1) Because people admire that when his country was in shambles and his people were being oppressed by neighboring countries he took a stand, spoke to the people in a way they related too, and regardless of what he did wrong it’s clear he genuinely cared about Germany and German people. Look at our own society — it’s at a point where we need our own fascist leader to rally and unite men agains the system and overhaul it.
2) Honestly I don’t trust western governments as far as I can throw them. There simply is no way of knowing how much of the “history” I’ve been taught is true or false or twisted for propaganda purposes. Everyone knows the phrase “the victor writes history” but it’s like no one takes that to its logical conclusion. If Germany had won the war what you and I believe would likely be way different because what we would’ve been taught would be way different.
3) Sometimes groups within a society really do cause a wild amount of problems and those problems must be pointed out and crushed sometimes by force if needed. Look at women once they were given voting power. Look at how disproportionately blacks commit heaps of violent crime in the USA (obviously not all on average I mean). I don’t know whether or not the Jews did awful things in Germany but there was that communist revolution they attempted before the war and these days you can’t say anything critical of women or Jews whereas you can say critical things of other groups like us — that alone says a lot and if nothing else the double standards for protected groups VS punching bag groups should not be tolerated. Either all of it’s ok or none of it is. Jews are disproportionately represented in positions of power and authority in the USA for example and they have a strong in group bias. I won’t comment beyond that because it’s an area I need to look into further.
4) I agree completely that Hitler made grave errors and some of his positions were foolish.

Yeah I noticed that too — these days especially people are laser focused on inequality and power dynamics and hey that’s probably fair but for some reason Jewish people are off limits when arguably they’re one of the most deserving of that type of scrutiny if our criteria is just what groups hold the most institutional power.
