why dont we make this forum member-only?

i like other users here dont appreciate having my ideas stalked by IT or some other mocking community, and this has gone around for quite some time, so why doesnt @Master or @The Enforcer just set our community to member-view only? would keep our forum much more restricted and more serene/calmer without it hovering here

Probably because by making it private the forum would trigger it to die out. It wouldn't keep out tourists either, because they could just make an account and lurk.

Even things like facial verification would not work, because most of ITcucks classify as truecel material.

Banning inactive accounts would probably create a separate host of problems, as many members come and go depending on IRL circumstances.

I'm not an admin so I can't do that anyway. But this question has been asked before. You can find it in the suggestions section. I've addressed it before. It would solve nothing. In fact it would incentivize infiltrators to try and create even more accounts
