Why does every anime movie have to be a slice of life drama or Demon Slayer sequel?

I loved the Blue Lock and Solo Leveling movie, but they all do terribly in the box office. I don’t want to be forced to watch the 20th Demon Slayer arc movie to watch an animated movie.
