why does anime become unwatchable when you start reading manga

Is it me alone or does anime become unwatchable when you start reading manga like i used to watch anime a lot then i started reading manga now i cant even finish a single episode

I agree tbh, I can't sit through any anime anymore but I still enjoy reading mangas

I feel like it’s just more quick to read manga rather than watching it

The average anime episode is like 24 mins

In 24 minutes of reading manga I can get like 5-6 chapters done

I feel like manga is even worse for my attention span which shouldn’t make sense but idk

I think it's because manga is more expressive but also depends on your imagination a little more. With anime, it shows you everything but never as beautifully as you imagined. Plus might also be an ADHD thing.

its easier to go at your own pace too, its far less jarring to stop reading halfway through a chapter than to stop halfway through an episode.
