For some feminists it could also be that they feel like they have to support women's rights because it's in vogue, but actually would prefer a dominant husband so they hope by making Islam strong they will get forced into their traditional roles again. This could be similar to that what is called "feminist" porn is typically not watched by women, but instead the complete opposite.

I think feminists help them out because they know Muslims can't do anything to them, they are virtue signalling about them to get social points and they have one common thing with Muslims.
