Why do so many things these days have to be about the politics of that thing?

You've noticed this?

It reminds me of when I was studying anthropology. Everything in anthropology is like... one step back. So if it's political anthropology you're studying how humans do politics. lol

Kind of cool.

Anyway, yeah so... so many things now for example gaming aren't REALLY about gaming. They're about the politics of gaming, or of one specific game.

It seems to me that if someone genuinely enjoys something, they'd be able to talk about it without constantly making it about something else.

Hypergamy makes existing sexual anxieties more acute, but people have no way of expressing that beyond politics, so it all becomes a single deluge of agitprop, it's a cope.

Yeah great point. Politics, racism, religion, and any practically other major compensatory manly red pill pursuit such as fitness and careermaxxing, are all avenues for channeling pent up sexual frustration and unreciprocated affection/love. This is how sexual sublimation occurs as per Freud, but now the hypergamy is so bad that to achieve sublimation, success in these areas has to be to an insane degree which is even harder in a hypercompetitive uncertain economy. Of course hypergamy doesn't trigger anxiety among truecels, only depression. We just stay depressed because it never began for us in the first place.

Politics provides an avenue for celebrity stardom through the skillful and dramatic airing of grievances, so of course it attracts losers.

Everything is political these days

I don’t understand. Are you using politics in the broad sense of the term? Not like actual politics.

Good question, a lot of people feel the need to shove their views, on whatever thing in people's faces, and throw the tantrums if anyone challenges or disagrees with them.

Ultimately, a lot of normfags are just fundamentally weak people these days, they can't deal with someone not being aligned, with whatever they think. They get triggered and emotional. Soyciety is just pathetic.
