What is privacy worth if you give it away without a second thought? People want the dignity of keeping parts of their life to themselves, and that includes what they search or watch. I do get what you are saying though, since people act like they are wanted by INTERPOL even though it is usually just some company selling ad space. :feelsugh:

I don't want kikes knowing what I jerk of to

It's faux outrage

privacy doesn't exist when there's 8 billion others you use the internet every connected they will always track you

good goy

Tbh I don't care either

The only type of people who worry about companies selling their data, are the ones who search up wild shit on google and usually have stuff they wanna “hide”. but yea I never understood why people worry about it

I understand your point, but I would not mistake ubiquity for inevitability. Much of what we do online is tracked, yet that does not mean we have no control. There remains a difference between giving everything away carelessly and choosing carefully what we share and where.

I think it's more of control, some people like having control over their own data than whatever big tech firm will do in selling it to others along with the uncertainty on what they will do with your data if they have it because well you don't know all you see is that someone else has it and they can do whatever they please.

Privacy is really a spectrum, it's not all black and white you can't protect yourself from being tracked by everything especially sophisticated shit like the government tapping into fiber optic cables but it's more about controlling what data you provide on the internet.

You can sure mitigate and take back control over your data and how it is used by companies. People do have a reason to care about their own privacy and sometimes people have to in maintaining a public image or safety if they are doing something considered illegal in certain places.

Like being a ghost online is just using the Net as little as possible and only using stuff like Tor or anything else encrypted always being on the move only reserved for those who really need the protection.

Right, I agree with that. Privacy is not absolute, and there will always be forces beyond individual control, especially at the level of governments. Still, we can decide how much data we hand over to companies by our own habits: what services we use, what permissions we grant, and how freely we share information online.
Shrugging wojak

It all comes down to the individual and their own needs or preferences really. Not everyone has to be private and schizocel thinking that glowieniggers are after them. While there are some legit reasons to have privacy like Advocates, Whistleblowers or you know people who actually need protection.
