Why are foids so obsessed with otherwordly hokus pokus?

I swear whenever I happen across content or IRL shops for any of the following things it is always women for some reason:
- Alternative medicines / holistic medicines
- Meditation, yoga & healing
- Magic/palm reading/fortune telling
- Hemp products, natural herb products, organics
- Ghosts and the spiritual
Is it that anything which is grounded in science is just too much work for them? Maybe they enjoy not have to think too hard about their area of interest?

It kind of goes hand in hand with girl's obsession with Harry potter. They learn all the in-lore spells and magic nearly artistically. Something about the unexplained captivates them so easily.
