I mean I saw clips of cartel having military type of stuff , so I think to remove cartel groups there need to be army but it ddint really work in Mexico or do like El Salvador
I think a strong army can solve this problem but there will be huge casualties and loss of billions of dollars
The problem is they will comeback so I think best way to delay with gangs and cartels are a good army and what salvador did the Ms-13 and other gangs

As far as Mexico goes it’s ingrained into the culture pre colonization. The Aztecs use to do sacrifices and cannibalism. Mexican culture is a death cult, that’s why they have day of the dead, with lots of death related imagery; skulls and skeletons. Which in modern times translates to life being cheap because of cultural desensitization. Partly also because relations are more close. There is a bigger emphasis on family and extended family. If you backstab a family member, friend or business partner it becomes a crime of passion. (This applies to all Latin América). Also the police and court systems are not effective in these countries, it’s not like western nations where you sue everyone one of the ways people settle disputes is by their own hands.
