The video is set to frame the guy on the right as smarter for knowing more specific terms for the word ''road''.

But I will make the argument that the guy on the left is actually smarter. The whole point of language is to transmit a message. The guy on the left is able to express the idea of road in a simple manner that is understood by all. The guy on the right creates a lot of needless confusion with his fancy words :feelsUgh:

Who the fk is unironically saying cul de sac

The only one i agree with is the last one other than that is just who cares. All it is just rembering words thats all.

I want access to women's tunnel :feelsdevil: (vagina)

Mostly unnecessary words

I agree with alley and tunnel but the rest are extremely unnecessary lol. I'd hate to have the guy on the right as a driving instructor :lul: :lul:

Depends on context, if you're in a vehicle receiving directions, simply "left here" or "right here" would suffice. If I knew a lot of descriptive words without a practical context to use them, what point would they have. That being said, I think the 9ers descriptors are better in the context of ordering units in battle. War is always a necessary context, and I'd rather a commander / unit leader who told me to move to the 'specific landmark' than road, because it could be a matter of life or death. In which case I'd only find fault with 'cul de sac' for being more syllables than a simpler synonym like 'court.' :feelsokman:
