If hell exists, I think the deepest pit of hell ought to be reserved for proud smug immoral hypocrites. Traitors can justify their action because they can have a conflict of interests, be it their duty to their family, or a sudden change in morals, etc. But immoral people who are smug about their immoral behavior have no excuse. As unfortunate as it is to say, it is my great misfortune to say that roasties don't have a sense of justice. They don't think they are doing anything wrong. They honestly dont, and its hard to say someone is immoral if they honestly genuinely disagree. Schopenhauer make this observation ages ago




And it's logically entailed that if you don't have a competent sense of justice, you cannot be held morally responsible. A little baby child who rips up important papers cannot be held morally responsible for their actions, because they don't know what it is they're doing.





I doubt hell exists, but if it were to exist, it would have to be a temporary hell for it to reflect justice.
