Russia is a friend of Israel. Israel has not imposed sanctions against Russia so far. Flights from Tel Aviv to Moscow take place every day. Unlike other Western countries, Israel did not recognize the Holodomor. There are a lot of immigrants from the former USSR in Israel, and literally a third of Israel speaks Russian better than Hebrew.
