Toys and jewelry for children may contain high levels of toxic metals, such as arsenic (As), antimony (Sb), cadmium (Cd), and lead (Pb).
Building blocks, baby carriages, tin toys and other toys are coated with various paints or coatings. When the harmful metals in these paints or coatings such as lead, chromium, antimony, arsenic, barium, cadmium, and mercury are marked, it will cause damage to children's health.
Lead can cause impaired IQ and cognitive function, behavioural and growth problems and anaemia. Mercury is used in inks and adhesives, while cadmium is easily available. Mercury can cause neurological effects, cognitive deficits
Damage to the brain and nervous system. Slowed growth and development. Learning and behavior problems. Hearing and speech problems.
Hmmmmm i wonder....who's behind it....
