The year was 1973 and Stephen Donaldson was involved in a protest protesting the Vietnam War. He was in his 20s at the time. He was arrested and ended up in a Washington DC jail. At first, it wasn't so bad. He was housed with nonviolent and old inmates. He said he passed the time playing checkers with a black guy in his 60s.
The time came around for him to bail out of jail. The bail was $10.00. Stephen refused to pay the bail out of protest because he felt that the bail system unjustly punished black and poor inmates. And since he was white, him paying the bail would be white privilege.
Massive pwnage was about to ensue.
The jail warden had him moved to a more violent part of the jail. He said that he was 1 of only 2 white guys in that whole wing in the jail. He met a black inmate nicknamed Baseball. Baseball seemed to be friendly at first and told him to come to his cell so they could discuss pacifism.
When they got to the cell, some other black inmates entered the cell. Baseball then told him to take off his pants. When Stephen refused, he said that Baseball slammed his head against the metal frame of the bunk bed. He said that Baseball took out his dick and then told him to suck it. Hè refused and Baseball hit him. He then sucked Baseball's dick. Then one of Baseball's accomplices took off his pants and anally raped him.
After Baseball and his crew were finished raping him, orally and anally, they took him around the cell block and pimped him out. They sold him for cigarettes. They charged more cigarettes for anal sex than they did for oral sex.
Stephen estimates that first night, he was raped 45 times by dozens of blacks. The 2nd day, it happened again, but 15 times.
He finally escaped to the guards and told them what happened. He had to get rectal surgery because of the injuries to his anus. Baseball and his accomplice were arrested and sent to solitary confinement. They faced additional years on their sentences for raping Stephen and then pimping him out, but Stephen declined to press charges.
The reason he didn't press charges was because he thought the criminal justice system was racist against men of color and he didn't want to be part of that system.
