Supposedly the "muh geenz" argument is a cope, but I think there is some credibility to behaviors being passed down.

My grandpa was a very frugal shut-in, my dad was the same. So here I am, exactly like them. I haven't even talked to my grandpa much but have been told I am very similar to him in personality.
