Discussion Which country's name change annoys you most - Czechia or Türkiye?

I hate to use either new name.

I'll never forget I was watching the Jew'ros and the announcer said that he had to refer to the Turkish team as Türkiye.

I loved the name Czech Republic - it was an awesome name.

I was at work one day - and my foid coworker would not stop talking about her situationship-guy leaving to Czechia to work at a big lacrosse tournament.

The National Hockey League refuses to allow commentators to say, "Czech Republic." The commentators all say, "Czechia."

I just realized that it is still valid to use the name, "Czech Republic" as well as "Czechia."

"Listen here - you dirty Turk. I don't care what faggy name you decided to give your goat-fucking country. If I want to call you A'horses'ass'stan, I will. So, shut the fuck up and shove some chickpeas up your sister's snatch - instead of wasting your energy trying to correct me."
