I stick with the names I trust, I also heard that there were malware but it was from one trusted uploader for games, but overall i've torrented 100 or so shows and movies and have no problems so far, used to be 100x worse during the limewire and utorrent and Frostwire days.

I think stremio + torrentio is the best alternative on pc. 1DM + MX player + random streaming site if you're on Android like me

In case you're interested,what I do is go to a streaming site on 1DM browser, download the movie I want (takes 5 mins max), open the movie in MX player and use the inbuilt subtitle browser to get CC.

MX player does have some ads but I use adguard DNS so I have systemwide adblocking

I like MX player just because of how customisable it is

You do have to watch commercials.
But Tubi is legal. It is not a pirate site.
You will not get malware or hacked by using it.
