Family gatherings, social events, video games, movies, music, etc. all become unbearable over time. I'm not even sure what the scientific explanation is.

yeah I definitely experience this. even when I have more free time than usual I feel no motivation to play video games or watch anime or whatever. I just browse forums and listen to music for hours every day to pass time tbh

it's hard to say exactly when. it became really noticeable when most of my former social circle went their separate ways and I didn't have people to do stuff with anymore, though there was symptoms of it even up to that point
