When a person dies, whenever I see some post on the internet that came out before their death, I think "hey _ was still alive at the time" then I start imagining what they were doing at the time of the post being made. Is this normal? I do this quite a lot.

Its weird how someone is alive and talking, being a whole person, then suddenly is an empty vessel, there but not there.

Sometimes when I see a dead persons obituary and they're a millennial or younger, I try to find them on facebook and see their posts from when they were still alive and maybe catch some grieving loved ones on the timeline.

My brother died at 37. Its really hard when someone you expect always to be there simply is gone, forever.

Yeah but I get some kind of morbid satisfaction out of reading it. I'm not happy it happened or anything it's just intriguing to me. One obituary had a mom and her baby so I knew the grieving was about to be next level, immediately found the mother on fb.

Know an account of one local guy who died years ago and it's weird checking his social media and people who don't know about his passing saying happy birthday to him on Facebook...
