What’s the point of friendship?

What use do “ friends “ even serve it seems it’s just two or more people serving serving their own interests until somebody gets bored and decides to end things and I guess you could say the same thing relationships but seriously why bother with such a meaningless concept.

When I had friends I was afraid of loosing them, after not having any for over half a decade I have no idea why I had them in the first place, a desire to fit in, a desire for confirmation bias and someone of perceived equal status to compete with, all things which doesn't concern me at all anymore as a follower of the rot.

Friends are just strangers who trade fun with each other. You never know who you are until you are with another person which is why loneliness is a detriment in the first place because its pretty much a wailing echo that you don't exist.
