Crystal Edition as well. Yellow was my first game ever, my uncle gifted it to me with a teal Gameboy Color. Was kinda hard for me as a kid, but Silver was much more fun. Then when Crystal was released, I feel like the franchise peaked there.
Gen 3 was a massive disappointment in every aspect, felt like a reboot and a step backwards. Much like how shitty Fallout 3 was after the masterpiece of Fallout 2. I was so disillusioned by the franchise that it was my last gen I bothered playing. (I did play Soulsilver but that was it)
Gen 3 also started the abysmal trend of shitting out a new game every 3 years
