10 years ago there was a decent amount of games I wanted to fuck with but didnt. One of them I did not touch until now. Mafia 3. A GTA-ish game but its more centered towards relism, hystory and its not really the barbaric dysfunction tone you would see from GTA 5. Actually its kinda nice seeing a GTA ish game be relistic and not let you carry Solid Snakes entire arenal tucked under your belt.
I did the beginer shit/prologe. Its very long for such a prologe. I geuss there trying to be cinimatic. Oh well. Storys seems decent. It takes place Id say at the end point of jim crow. Lincoln who seems like a tyrone on the outside is really a mature and brownifyed version of Blaskowitz from Wolfenstien the New Order. No seriously Lincoln is literally Blackend Blaskowitz but the real difference is that Lincoln is actually more self tempered and problably smarter then Blaskowitz. I geuss 2K thinks the jews controlling everything belief is total bullshit.
One thing Im looking forward to is getting the HDM 22 pistol. But like everything else(weaponly speacking) the guns have fake names. Oh well.
Now I wouldnt say its a GTA competitor as its more of a serious/extra dark story tone. GTA is basicly a gangsters paradise/ wanna be god fantasy with edgy atmosphere(weather online or single player).
IDK if any of yall played it. But I might give it a reveiw in a month. But I think I'll prefer this over GTA LOL. Its more relistic, it goes into real subjects though only relistic for the tome it rakes place in. Its not even a bad guy fantasy. Its more so like a video game adaptarion of Sons of Arnarchy. Granted SOA never did use flash backs despite it revolving so much on the past.
I think the games art is going to be the downfall of how crime just drags people lower into hell. A message SOA kinda treid to warn people about. And Im sure Mafia 3 will be that same message. But I could be wrong.
