If you look at the UAE they import millions of Indians and use them for slave labor, keeping them in cages and sending their bodies back to India when they die. These Indians build megastructures and important infrastructure at the fraction of the cost of a regular worker.

Slaves would give no economic incentive for females to get an education and pursue a career as their labor value would become redudant. This would give them no economic freedom whilst males actually get beneficial and high-education jobs.
