most Nintendo content I've consumed was for the DS so the Wii era tbh
The Wii U obviously, Rabbids Land and Dr Luigi are by far the best games ever released on Nintendo consoles.
MAYBE IF THEY RELEASED THEIR GAMES ON PC I WOULD KNOW THE ASNWER FOR THAT QUESTION
Just emulate them bro. You can emulate basically every single Nintendo console, Switch included
I could do it, I know.
But the problem is: i dont feel like it. And why I dont feel like it? It is because I didnt grow up playing nintendo's games.
Now as an adult with a minimum wage job I dont feel like wasting my limited time setting up emulators for games from 10 years ago that I dont even know if I will like.
Well, that's your problem then.
Gamecube and SNES rest is irrelevant to me and could not exist at all.
wii games are a bitch to emulate due their motion control shit is miserable to set up on dolphin, while gamecube/switch/snes games can be played instantly with no issues other than performance in case of switch games

n64 will always have a place in my heart, it's all I had as a child. Softened a lot of harsh realities/memories for me.
The Wii era is overrated by StupidClown, definitely the SNES era was the best
I only owned snes, gbc and 3ds when it comes to nintendo. I always liked playstation more.
I dId like some of the games on nintendo tho. Like chrono trigger on snes, old pokemon on gbc, smt iv on 3ds... Played many more than that but wanted to highlight those.

GameCube: best quality, lacking quantity and third party support.
GBA : lots of SNES ports with very few original games
WII: best Mario games ever with Mario Galaxy and Mario Kart Wii. Full backwards compatibility with the GameCube. (Till later models) And some good third party exclusives. Virtual console
DS: more original games than GBA. Better third party library with a good selection of dungeon crawlers and jrpgs. Original models have backwards compatibility.
Wii U: A small but decent selection of games. Sadly inferior to prior consoles. Some games such as Mario Kart 8 and Smash are blatant downgrades in many ways. Mario 3D World is good but nothing special.
Free and better online.
Better virtual console with DS games.
Backwards compatibility with Wii
3DS: huge selection of first party games. Many are much more experimental than anything on the Wii U. Backwards compatibility with DS. Excellent third party library support.

The Gamecube was the last time Nintendo really tried to push the envelope with their games. I'm partial to the Wii because I'm a feckless spaghetti mouthed zoomer, but the Gamecube is simply better, the Wii marked the beginning of the end.

Because zoomies don't have taste and like anything with garish colours and obnoxious gimmicks. That's why they love video essays, Y2k, nu-metal, breakcore, frutiger aero and Windows 7.
