What should I know before getting on accutane?

I'm losing the battle to acne. No matter what I throw at it or how much time I spend slathering chemicals all over my back and face, there's constantly new pimples popping up everywhere.

I spoke to my parents about the issue, and my dad apparently had to also get on accutane to clear his acne. He had the same exact problems and couldn't get rid of his acne without accutane.

you should buy chapstick and stuff. not sure what other advice to give but I can tell you for sure that getting on accutane was one of the best decisions I have ever made
