Russia learned something really huge in communism. Provide all the basics of life to everybody for near free. Housing, food, water, heating, electricity, fuel oil, free gymnasiums, vodka, etc.

The West Europeans had their version of that with American capitalism + the social welfare state from 1945-1995. Then sadly they made a big turn back to feudalism. In feudalism everything becomes really expensive so people are barely making it if they are lucky. And meanwhile the inherited wealth people who own all the land, permits, licenses and quotas they are making monopolist rents on all that. By the state controlling supply to below the level of demand intentionally.

So every year the feudalists in Western Europe make all the basics of life more expensive and what was once super rich countries, more and more people find themselves in poverty. They never agreed with American capitalism, we just forced it on them, and while we were facing down the Soviet Union we made the West Europeans provide a good life for people.. at gunpoint, of American military guns pointed at the West European governments and eager to use them. This meant the choice in Europe was between American capitalism/Euro social welfare state.. vs. the Soviet model. Well in that case everybody in Europe wanted to join with the West.

But now the choice is between shitty feudalism in Western Europe vs. Russian feudalism, but at least the Russians provide the basics for near free.

So we see now there are outright majorities in Slovakia, East Germany, Hungary, Bulgaria, Serbia, even Greece probably who want to join with Russia again. When the majority of people in countries want to go with something it is going to happen sooner or later.

So you think it means the war will continue and embolden Putin's spirit and eventually they will have a sloppy ending but prevail over Ukraine?

Or will they be able to outright crush them?

Good question. It definitely must embolden Putin that support for Russia is growing fast in all those countries, and its to the point he has outright majorities in those countries who are supporting Russia.

To stand up to the West over time.. Russia can't do it by themselves. They need allies in Europe. The more allies Russia gets in Europe the better the Russian position is. That was much of the logic for invading Ukraine itself. Ukraine is 41 million people, with 200,000 active duty military and substantial economic resources. Russia needs as much as possible of those on Russia's side. Even the 9 million in the 4 SE provinces that Russia controls is a big deal.

Europe map

If you look at this map say Russia gets Ukraine and Moldova. That then links them up with Slovakia and Hungary which have pro-Russia majorities. Which then links them by land to Serbia and then to Bulgaria and Greece. And isolates Romania.. that is why Romania is so 100% pro-Ukraine in this war is they know what is coming if Ukraine goes down.

Each country Russia adds it gets much stronger. Like Russia's current army is 1,020,000 and Putin said that is going to 1,150,000 in 2023. Now take Ukraine that can raise another 300,000 an add it to their army.

Then Russia could force a pro-Serbian situation in the Balkans.. and in Italy there is a lot of pro-Russia support. Russia could also potentially retake the 3 small Baltic countries if the EU/NATO was divided enough.

According to the World Bank, Russia ranks third in the world in the suicide mortality rate, and this rate in 2019 was 25.10/100,000 per year.

Honestly and like I've said before, if he can take care of all the resources and issues pertaining to making the area economically viable, everyone should be helping him. United Nations horseshit is the most useless shit ever. Even if they are successful at defeating Russia, will this drive has prices down immediately for Americans?

That's all we want to know !

Was reading it from a German English version of their main newspaper. they didn't give numbers if I remember only saying the West-East divide in who supports which side in the war.

I think an underreported aspect is how Merkel and her gang of East German statists are out. And a pro-America, West German is now running Germany. But even so that is a huge divide in Germany, that Russia can push in time.

Its like when communism was a huge threat. West Europe had to make sure their people were living well, or they knew 100% chance communism would take over. With the Soviet Union being so powerful and pushing it, plus the ideology being very popular.

It was when communism went down that they backtracked and went back to their feudal ways.

Russia is no longer a communist country. beyond that, the planned economy that they tried when they WERE communist was so unbelievably retarded that everyone who wasn't a government employee rejoiced when the state fell. Too bad they also fucked up and didn't replace it with something better and now they're left with this weird authoritarian/imperialist shit that putin is putting them through

Oh ok now I understand. I initially thought you meant outright join Russia as a vassal state.

Yeah there are many many individuals in Germany who prefer to cooperate with Russia in a mutually beneficial business relationship basis. Thats the reason they became dependant on Russian gas in the first place.

Btw people in Europe marry each other. Many Germans marry Russians , Pols, Czech.

The language of old Prussia had Polish influences and baltic influences and Why? Those were their mothers.

The Austrian empire was states like Hungary and they married each other.

Many Germans in North Rhein Westfalia have Polish surnames because loads and loads of Pols came there centuries ago to work and they intergrated and married into the local population.

Many Germans went to Russia to work and build saint Petersburg for example, to places like Khazakstan and they were kicked out or rather pressured to leave so they returned to Germany in the 1990's I think.

People in Europe are mixed up. Each state has an official language but they are mixed up through centuries of unprotected sexual relations. Its just stormfront cels radicals who push propoganda but irl people in Europe I think would rather cooperate amongst themselves.

Paid politicians obviously prefer USA and UK because they fatten their wallets with bribes.

It wont take long untill the sanctions are oppossed by the people in Europe because the paid politicians are living luxurious but the common man must pay the ultimate cost in cold hard cash.

Thats why I said in my replies to your other posts about the war that if Russia continues the war eventually the EU will stop funding Ukraine because they have their issues to deal with because Europe has no resources at all except coal and cannot sustain a prolonged war at all, short war yes but long no.
So if USA is ready to foot the bill then it will continue but history has proven that USA pulls out of their wars when it becomes to expensive.

The West is not a feudal society, this is a Socialist myth. I'm a type of Socialist and I don't believe in these stupid myths because we should be critical of these beliefs.

Feudalism is much more crystallised, but I can see why modern Monopolist corporatism is commonly compared to it, but it's such an oversimplification that it makes the term "feudalism" useless.

Okay how would you describe modern Monopolist corporitism.

What I understand is that the average business will be priced out by the barganing power of the corporation.
So in essence if you dont inherit hundreds of millions to compete then essentially you will remain a common worker all your life maybe with a fancy ttile like shift manager or head of HR but never the less just a common employee with a 9-5.

How is the analogy of feudalism inacurate in this regard? Of course times have changed and people are no longer common peasants working the fields but now they are common wage slaves working the 9-5

Ya since the Europeans don't want to burn coal anymore because its too polluting, they have to then burn natural gas. But Russia supplied 30-40% of their natural gas before the war. Between 150-200 billion cubic meters (bcm) a year out of Europe's use of around 550 bcm a year.

Before the war the cost wasn't that bad it was only like $50 billion or so a year for the Russian natural gas. Russia itself wanted a better deal imo. Russia a few days ago approved a new pipeline to be completed in 2 years to supply 50 bcm more to China. And probably got a lot more money than they were selling that amount to Europe for.

Right now the global LNG industry is supply the missing Russian gas to Europe. But its insanely expensive because there is not enough supply of LNG on the global marketplace. So its going to take some time to bring on more supply. Like my estimate is the price of natural gas in Europe will keep falling from where it is as more supply comes online, but it will take until late 2027 before there is adequate supply on the global LNG market.

Honestly this works out better for Russia anyway, its way better if they can sell their natural gas in Asia for like 4 times what they were getting selling to Europe. That would take it from a $50 billion industry to a $200 billion industry. Which for perspective Putin said the 2023 Russian military budget will be about $120-130 billion.

I think part of the Russian strategic calculation is say the war costs them $75 billion a year extra military costs. But the increased prices they get for the oil and gas are say $150 billion a year, and go on long after the war is over. That makes the war worth it even if they 'lose'.

This is not the significant point. I meant, US is a huge Flagship being driven by noone at the moment. They will crash long before achieving any of their EU/Russia "goals".
