The main point of going to the gym was always that it's a mentally beneficial. You do your sets, eat your slop, get your sleep, and you get results. The predictability and progression and structure of exercising will make you feel better, in addition to feeling better because you're bigger and stronger.
At least that's how it worked for me. Almost 15 years regular in the gym even if I found out after less than a year that there won't be any easy pussy out of it.

Last time i went there my sleep got awful for 3-4 days, i guess due to my body being stressed. And to say that i was counting on the exact opposite. So i made an effort just to end up having sleepless nights during a week of work with a body sore as fuck on top of it all, how suifuel. I wish things were as simple as they seemed when i was young like the more you tire = the better you sleep and other cliches my life is such a never ending river of shit.
