Specifically, people who never made it. I have heard these success stories of people who succeeded after many hundreds of rejections and was thinking the opposite has to exist also. People who tried just as much or more but never got any success.

There was a guy on .is who did a fuckton of cold approaches, I don’t the number anymore but it was a fuckton. The rejections made him mentally unstable for a while.
