I fr expected a blitzkrieg through Ukraine, I remember talking to a Ukrianian over Kik, he thought war would not happen but I said him it'd happen cos that's how dictators fight they do what they say, and a month and two later it happened but then I was wrong how it played out, I hope he survived the war or escaped to somewhere safe. The German invasion of the soviet union is what I expected but alas Russia is not the soviet industrial giant.

ngl i did expect russia to have setbacks since I was aware of their chechen war blunders, but damn nigga we got WW1 in the 2020s

Same, I expected the invasion of Ukraine to be a 21st century Operation Bagration. A titanic armored and mechanized offensive with apocalyptic amounts of artillery. The type of offensive that NATO commanders dreaded throughout the Cold War.
