Today when I left work I drove about a block down the street when I saw a couple walking down the street. Not any normal couple. A Stacy. And a Chad who stood about 6’6” I would estimate. He looked like he could be a college basketball player. They were not just walking but had the BIGGEST smiles on their faces. They were enjoying life on a whole other level than any of us will ever know. They were just going for a stupid walk in front of their apartment it were in complete bliss, all while life mogging every one of us.

I get filled with an unbelievable sense of rage that I can't tap into something as basic as a sense of belonging with another human. What did I do to deserve this? Better yet, what did they do to get love that I didn't?

Truthfully, maybe not that close at all. I'd have to be taller, not autistic, smarter, and just better. But I like to fantasize sometimes that I ever even had a chance.
