I try to observe things from both perspectives; in this case, right and left perspectives.
So I have watched this video arguing against immigration deportations:
View: https://m.youtube.com/watch?v=4xXgezxZ_nM
While I disagree about immigrants being safer (it is highly dependent on context), the point about deporting immigrants not improving quality of life does seem valid, considering that low wage jobs are filled by spics, and the rich employers aren't going to increase wages any time soon.
It does seem most right wing perspective on ICE deportations is "owning the browns" but what even is the point of that if legal immigrants are not only allowed, but also emphasized; you have more and more Indians in power (brown), and even the right wing is increasingly diverse: LGBT Latinx Nick Fuentes, Sheboon Candace Owens, and Nigger Hitler Heiler Kanye West.
Nick Funetes also supoorted USA taking more land, directly contradicting some of anti brown rhetoric; you can't take more land without accompanying the new citizens without genociding them, which is logistically and (geo)politically impossible.
Conclusion:
ICE operations do not:
- reduce brown power
- make America whiter
- improve quality of life
So what even is the point? Symbolically persecuting illegal immigrants while directing them towards legal immigration?
