First off, who are the police? Many of them are gay as one abolitionist notes that there is an "epidemic of police sexual violence against trans women."
Second, what do police do? They go against religious groups, particularly Muslims: "The September 11, 2001, attacks marked the official start of the 'war on terror,' when more than 1,200 Muslim, Arab, and South Asian men were rounded up by local and federal law enforcement agents and detained indefinitely, although not one was ultimately found to be connected to any terrorist-related activity."
Another thing the police do is go after public urination, which I guess can harm men. (That's sort of off topic, the topic is conservatism, but I guess it's worth mentioning)
The other thing police do is harm the disabled: "roughly a third to a half of all people killed by police are disabled." Disabled people are victims of abortion and euthanasia. Concern for them is conservative.
The police also harm the preborn: Nicola Robinson who was visibly with child was punched in her belly by a police officer. One cop has said, “we don’t like Black pregnant women.” Cops have led to miscarriages: "Immigration enforcement has also led to loss of pregnancy. In one 2006 case, a Chinese woman miscarried her twins after she appeared for a routine interview with immigration officials that subsequently turned into a violent deportation attempt." "For example, one-third of pregnant women in prison miscarry, in large part due to inadequate health and prenatal care." The preborn have a right to life.
Lastly, what police have done is steal children from their parents: "In a third, 'Sidelina Zuniga, a 39-year-old Mexican immigrant, came home from grocery shopping to discover the police had taken her boys, ages ten and four, because she left them alone for an hour and half.'"
Who is criticizing the police? One group is Mothers Against Police Brutality. While I haven't researched it, it seems conservative since parenthood is conservative.
