When you scroll through Instagram, you often see (depending on the algorithm) videos where men in particular say that as a man you have to be really tough, you shouldn't settle for less, you should be a provider (this sometimes comes from women too), that you shouldn't waste your 20s on parties and vacations, but instead work hard, work, work, work, earn a lot of money, be disciplined all the time, etc. Bare minimum treats (also often from women).
So, you know what kind of videos I mean? Those personality development videos.
I mean something like this:

What is your opinion on this? I find this type of superficial video highly toxic because, in my opinion, they convey completely flawed values—what do you think?
You only live once in this world.
Why do you have to constantly optimize yourself 24/7, why do you have to constantly bow to superficial ideals instead of just being satisfied with what you have, but still being able to develop yourself further (just not in an exaggerated and money-obsessed way), and why do you have to fit into these old role models with providers, etc.? I don't understand that.
