Me personally I find it dumb that people would harm themselves while going through something but I understand that they are hurting but why would you just wanna keep hurting your self instead of finding help and improving yourself

It's exclusively only done by women. We didn't even have a term for cutting until recently, and psychiatrists are only just now coming up with it, and it's not a very good term yet because the category of self-harm is purposefully overly inclusive to avoid being exclusively female, including a lot of what would be more appropriately called "retarded" so they get include more guys.

I'm not entirely sure, perhaps I was sick of constantly chickening out and not reaching my end goal, trying to hide the evidence is tiring, especially in summer but ultimately I think I've simply just began to out grow it. I'm going to die at some point anyways so I've just been exercising my free will to do whatever I want in the meantime.
I'm sure it'll be something I struggle with again but I've noticed I've slowly started to replace my attempts with other shit; cold showers fully clothed shocks me enough to pull me out of a bad headspace, venting even if it's just to the void but mainly I've gotten used to the same shit that negatively impacts me and I have all the time in the world to sit here and think about my situation from every angle, usually coming to the same conclusion that my problems are so tiny in the grand scheme of things, they wont matter as long as I don't let them impact me.
