Discussion What did you think of guys like you when you were younger?

Currently my life involves a lot of living in a dark room surrounded by technology and cigarettes! Which to be honest I thought was quite cool when I was a teenager.

In my case though:

a) I don't smoke too much
b) my hiding away is actually partly due to health issues

So yeah - some caveats there.

I remember reading posts online from neets when I was a kid. I just remember thinking in the back of my head "I hope I don't end up like that" in a worried type of way, a way where I knew there was a chance I would end up like them. Guess I was right to be worried.

I'm actually thought that we are cool because we are good guys against bad normies etc. But i also thought that there are loners girls who could be my soulmate. Well, i was naive dreamer

Yeah as a child erm... hm. I still think I thought techie guys were cool, but I don't remember any experiences with adult men as a child that made me feel truly unsafe so I didn't really have a reason to feel fear.

I mostly just remember being scared of dogs!
