What are your favorite conspiracy theories?
Here are some of mine:

• Flat earth

The Earth being round is kind of a letdown because it means there is a limit to exploration. Imagine if the Earth was flat. How vast would it be? What is beyond the north and south frost zones? Do the oceans ever end? Imagine distant, exotic worlds with different sentient humanoid races, fantasy landscapes and bizarre creatures.

• Upcoming alien event

This has been going on since as far back as Roswell probably. The aliens are watching us and waiting for humanity to meet certain criteria. Our rulers know about this, but keep this knowledge secret. Revealing it to the masses would have catastrophic consequences. It is said (by whom?) that a mother must sacrifice her life to save her child in some very special circumstances. This feat will be the message to the aliens that we are ready to ascend. However, our ascension will not be how most would imagine it. In fact, most would not want to ascend if they know how ascension happens and what new responsibilities it entails.

They are really depressing, because they tend to be real and prove that there is no idyllic family life with a house, cars and steady jobs available anymore for us, let alone safety. Soyciety is having a huge damage control over them and aggressively bash people on head with "misinformation" and "fact checks". There's nothing dangerous in believing stuff, it's dangerous only for the synagogue of satan.
