I basically wasn't diagnosed with Aspergers until I was in my 20's. Growing up, I never understood why people hated me so much. When I bring up my struggles with women hating and yelling at me, they're confused. And when I say yelled at by women, I really mean yelled at. Just for trying to casually talk to a woman about class, I was yelled at to go away, and another time for being creepy. I have, to this day, no clue what I did wrong.
I actually recall the first time someone accused me of having Autism, long before I was diagnosed. I was walking with a female friend after eating Thanksgiving dinner, it was me and three other people in my age group, two girls and one guy. This friend told me,
"Look Anon, we love you *hugs me*"
"But we think you might have Autism".
After graduating high school, a male friend actually told me about all the times people went up to him and asked
"So your one friend, (referring to me) is he special (needs)".
Whenever I talked to that one woman friend about my social struggles, she kept mentioning 'classes for social cues', and I had no clue what she was referring to.
