Every once in a while I'll see kids talking about to or yelling at one of their parents and it's always really jarring to see. I always think "how the fuck is this happening? Why aren't his parents beating the absolute fuck out of him?"

Seeing how some kids act in public these days I completely agree. So many times when I go to walmart I see kids running around screaming, sometimes knocking things off shelves, throwing things at each other, etc. This is one of the reasons I go very early in the morning or right before they close if possible. Less likely to be kids around.

no. i was slapped lightly once or twice by my father but i was an incredibly misbehaved child . thats not being beaten.
In fact i am tremendously jealous of those who get beaten. it adds substance and depth to their lives. i crave a reaction to my transgressive conduct. but none will come! my life is devoid of emotion and emotion is a good thing as it prompts action and individuates people. giving children hidings would be being sympathetic to their cause. and that is not to mention the instructive and punitive aspects of corporal punishment .
