Family, friends, even a pet maybe? For me it is my younger brother. He is one of those chill zoomer kids, a little rude sometimes but a good guy. I genuinely wish the best for him and try to set a good example for him in school, work, gym, etc. I hope he will do ok in this messed up society.

My cats, and of course my father, but he resides in a nursing home as he has advanced Alzheimer's and no longer recognizes me or knows who he is anymore.

That’s sucks about your dad, but I’m assuming your relationship with him was strong and that’s something to be grateful for. My relationship with my dad is superficial at best unfortunately.

I was raised by my father since I was a freshman in high school as my mother died from cancer complications when he was 15. He tried his best to be a good father but there were a lot of things where he was just not sure what advice to give. Having an ND (Not autism) son was not easy to navigate.
