That was a porn website were the CEO would post modelling gigs on craigslist and then tell the girls to come to a hotel room. And then he'd tell the girls to have sex on camera. Dozens of girls did this, and then filed a lawsuit alleging that he ruined their lives by posting the videos online and apparently r*ping them.

I mean come on, really!? They agreed to have sex on camera with a total stranger, and they made a surprised pikachu face when he posted it online? Are these women retarded or something? Why did they agree to a "modelling gig" and then agree to have sex on camera? They should have just walked out, but they participated in it.

And the defense they gave in court - "The exits of the hotel room was blocked by camera equipment". WTF? So they couldn't move the camera equipment?

It's a bit complicated.

They were stupid dumb whores, but they were extremely naive and also broke. Desperation made them overlook obvious red flags in the Craigslist postings.

The guys lured them under false pretenses and applied extreme pressure to them. For example, they would say it's a "modeling gig" and pay for their hotel fare. Once the girl got there and backed out after realizing it was for a porn shoot, the producers would pressure her into doing it anyway and threaten her with legal action or demand repayment of the plane ticket. The producers had female pimps to brainwash the girls and convince them all of this was totally normal. They would also lie telling the girls it would only be sold as DVDs to overseas collectors in Australia, so there would be little risk of their families finding out. Then afterwards the producers would dox the women and send it to the girls' families as well.

So these guys were definitely sick in the head and had some grudge against women, and were doing some very illegal things.
