My best understanding is that if your free T goes down then your T receptors become more sensitive to compensate, which leads to more DHT which leads to hair loss.

Unless you just have a strong genetic predisposition, in which case even low amounts of DHT will trigger the same effect.

But yeah anything that boosts hair growth (as minoxidil does, for example) will help for sure.

The only difference is they lost their hair at 50s mostly. So I have time. Just enjoying my mane before it goes away
