Other than the more well-known number keys 1-6 to navigate the menu at the top, I accidentally discovered another 2 shortcuts:
Comma key (,) : opens the conversations dropdown.
Period key (.) : opens the notifications dropdown.
Obviously these won't work if you are focused on a text field.
These are just some weird built-in XenForo shortcuts; I'm not sure whether most people know about them.
