You don't know the economic definition of a "natural monopol", look it up. If the platform's service worth is literally derived from it's number of other customers you can potentially connect to, then there is not much room for competition once one platform got a headstart. There is a reason every network of communication is either state owned, only semiprivatized, uses open standards by law / contract or is a fucking monopol.

Backed by guns? You know big tech meddles the government via lobbying and media control? Military and police are pretty much at their service. Beside sthat what ahs this to do with the topic?
