I had a great childhood up until like 12 or so.

But I meant would you rather have been your age 20-30 years ago? (and be 20-30 years older than you are now)? I'm not so sure. I think technological advancements have not only brought with it positives.

Yes, technological advancement should have stopped sometime in the mid 2000s, almost everything past that was a mistake. Smartphones, social media, dating apps, etc.

Yes & No imo, multiple articles state we live in the best time in history, which I def believe, but there should have been a limit, we should've slowed down on 'progress' in the 2000's

buonasera you're back!

yes I agree with you. I often think I'd be happier without modern computer, phone etc. and instead read more books and not see hot women on screen/social media all the time (early 1990 - 2000s)

imo early 2000s. But world population is also increasing which brings with it a lot of disadvantages and technological advancements alone make life more stressful (modern computers and phones, spending too much time on that shit, everything is too easily accessible as well as dating apps which I've never even used - but these still bring disadvantages)

Yes, funny how the internet instead of connecting everyone with each other like originally promised just did the exact opposite IRL. People are more isolated than ever

No social media, no yt, no wasting too much time on it and looking at women we can never have.....I would prefer a book, nature and tv as entertainment non of the stuff starting in 2010 or so

insta (I have burner account instead of looking at porn) is suifuel

1999 was the peak of human civilization just as The Matrix puts it.
Exactly. Too bad i couldn't properly experience the late 90's since i was too young. I bet it was nice. Better than now at least.

I meant to say 1990-early 2000s)

life for me went stagnant 8 years ago so yes, it was better 20-30y ago

It's nice having all the music, info, etc all on the internet

But that's pretty much the only way today is better. Everything else is much worse

1995-2003 was the peak of westERn civilization, everything was in the sweet spot (gaming, music, entertainment, hobbies, life)

some things got better until ~2013 while others got worse. Everything since then has been downhill

Yes ok, good point

What about the darkweb?

The culture of the 90s was definitely cooler, but without the technology of today, one had to rely more on relationships and socializing with other people especially for things like drugs and finding directions when lost. Since nobody talked to me when I was young, and certain soon to be dead faggots didn't want to sell to me because I was "weird", I'm not sure if I would've done any better socially if I was an adult back then.

I don't think I would have done better socially but I wouldn't have any yt or insta to browse through, waste my time and see women and relationships I'll never have anyway

Internet culture was better too. Chat rooms were great places to meet people that were open minded and unique.

i think 20-30 years ago some of us could have at least made some experiences, hypergamy is too rampant rn especially so with modern technological advances

I definitely wouldn't have been able to make any experiences but I don't like how I'm addicted to screens

honestly i believe i could back then. i think i would have at least had my first kiss before college ended if i was born 20 years ago. idk man screens are a pretty great cope for us. problem is, it's one of the only consistent copes we have so of course we'll feel bitter about spending so much time on games and videos.

chads can properly enjoy screens because they have all the other gifts of life to supplement it.

the early 2000s seems to be the best era IMO.

You had the best tv shows, cell phones were available but it was only for necessities, hot topic and malls were a big thing, blockbuster, everyone pretty much liked the same music

The music is some of the best imo. Seether, Tdg, Breaking benjamin, Chevelle. I used to really love pop punk as well until it was ruined by normies.

We need to go further back than that. The printing press was a mistake. Modernity in all of its various constituents must be eradicated.

Yes if I could go back I would tell myself to invest in crypto:soy:

Does a polar bear shit in the woods?

No, life was always shit for most of humanity, life being shit is part of the human experience, existence was painful since time immemorial but we don't off ourselves because we are so attached to life like an insane gambling addiction. Life is not good and never was, it's only different levels of bad

Some things were definitely better

Yes. The closer you get to a white majority, the more pleasant life seems to be.
