RE2 has one of the coolest box covers. The demake cover looks completely soulless next to it.

Ultimate Alliance is my most favorite game ever, even though I don’t like capeshit content as much now.

Castlevania: Aria of Sorrow also looked really cool to me back in high school, Symphony of The Night was my first Castlevania though.

Its funny how I sort of enjoy making videogames more than actually playing them. Not that I have much experience in that field

OK I'll bite... what video games have you made?

But I have ideas and plans related to this

I will not be taking RE2R slander it is 1000x better than that boring janky mess

And it actually works BETTER as a video game cover since it actually shows you the main character and city. the Ps2 version is just some generic spooky guy

Dnr, you are a soulless zoomer with no taste.

Observe the immaculate design of this box art. The pristine white background and the bold red typography, each element meticulously chosen to convey a sense of urgency and precision. The minimalist approach speaks volumes, reflecting the game's commitment to stealth and tactics. It's not just a cover, it's a statement.

This game scared the shit out of me as a child. All the silent pauses and ambience between levels always felt weird.

and this gigantic CUNT would jumpscare me everytime because i was too retarded and special needs to remember the order of the levels. Box art that elicits a decades old, long buried and dormant form of ptsd within me. eh i like to write all dramatically but you get the point

These portrait style covers always mog

The Japanese Silent Hill cover is immaculate. It is the kind of design made for someone who appreciates fear in its purest, most aesthetic form. A grid of pale gray tiles, each one perfectly measured, clinically indifferent. Then that smear of red, not random, not chaotic, deliberate, balanced, a perfect composition of violence and restraint. The title, SILENT HILL, sits in metallic gold, quiet, confident, expensive. Oh my god, even the Konami logo gleams like something embossed on a designer briefcase. The text at the bottom, “Trial Version, Not for Sale,” gives it this sense of exclusivity. You are not supposed to own it unless you belong to a certain echelon of taste. Every detail screams control, precision, the kind of elegance that borders on obsession.

The original Ninja Gaiden trilogy had some banger boxart. The NG2 art is especially good imho
